January 1, 2022 | Updated Vax/Mask Requirements
Based on the latest information, the Gator Boy’s vax/mask policy is as follows:
• Booster shot required (exceptions are you’ve completed full vax protocol > 2 weeks ago AND < 6 months ago with Pfizer/Moderna OR < 2 months ago with J&J)
• Tight-fitting respirator-type mask (i.e. KF94, KN95) required; we’ll have some on hand as replacements for those sporting loose-fitting or cloth masks.
A caveat, however, is that we are hosted by Eagles Mother Aerie, and their policy is you must be fully vaxed and masked except while seated and eating or drinking, so there are unmasked patrons in the bar. I’m told the HVAC is set to circulate fresh air, air filters have been added to the bar, and the large exhaust fan on the far side of the bar is left running, for what all that may be worth. While considering our options, we plan for now to continue events and will be enforcing the more stringent rules for our dancers.
