Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble are a tour de force in rhythm and grooves, serving smooth as silk vocals and harmonies with joyfully uplifting energy. This is down home Zydeco, direct from Louisiana — with roots in French, African American, and Afro-Caribbean styles — interpreted through Curley’s family for generations and influenced by his contemporary sensibility. Blues, R&B, and modern beats merge past and present to create an environment that welcomes everyone to the party, and beckons eager bodies to the dance floor.
