Country Dave & The New Fallen Angels bring their wonderfully dance-able grooves to celebrate the music of Gram Parsons! 6:30pm Country 2-step dance lesson, 7:30-10pm Dance to live music, $25, Eagles Mother Aerie (8201 Lake City Way NE, Seattle). Band members include: Country Dave Harmonson, Kelly Van Camp, Jesse Harmonson, Bob Knetzger, John Olufs, and Cami Voss. Gram Parsons, a visionary of what he called “cosmic American music” — a hybrid of country, rhythm and blues, soul, folk, and rock — left an indelible legacy. Credited with helping found the country rock and alt-country genres, he was ranked 87th on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
